GENERAL
Automatic Betadoors are electric powered (110 Volts 60 Hz or 220 Volts 50 Hz) rollerblind mechanisms that are self-contained in vertical aluminum frames. Low voltage floor mats, electric eye sensors, or push buttons trigger the doors to operate. Multiple doors are interlocked so only one door opens at any one time in normal operation. An "ALL OPEN" switch opens all doors instantly for emergency exits or for oversized objects.
MATERIALS
Vertical frames, curtain fronts and top section are painted aluminum. Track sections are 13 gauge painted steel. Door curtain fabric is flexible woven fiberglass. Leading edges of the curtain fronts are padded for additional safety. The thermally protected motor, solid state controls, and pneumatic damper are concealed behind the top panel. Opening and closing velocities are controlled by the pneumatic damper and limit switches. All controls and sensors are low voltage suitable for class 2 wiring. Power connections for 110 Volt, 5 amp. single phase, 60 Hz. (optional 220V-240V 50 Hz.) are made to the rear of the head. Multiple door assemblies have SATELLITE door(s) equipped with an interconnect cable and a MAIN door with matching receptacle. Multiple door assemblies are electronically interlocked.
INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS
WALL OPENING must comply with indicated dimensions (see below) for flush or surface mounting. Finished floor must be FLAT and LEVEL. Partition walls must be plumb and terminating in blocking to accept trim or door mounting flange as required for the installation. All trim to be supplied by others. No fasteners are to be set into the Betadoor frames, tracks, or head of door. Doors are to be installed so that they may readily be removed, if necessary. Power cable must coincide with the position of the MAIN door head. Provision must be made for interconnect cable(s), access to SATELLITE door, and MAIN door. Installer must verify field conditions to provide adequate clearance for installation. Dimensions subject to technical revision, contact manufacturer prior to establishing rough opening.\
